Hearts on a String!
The following is a craft our first graders will be making to honor their moms for Mother's day!
It's a fun and easy activity that you can also do with your children in your own home!
All you need is the following:
1. Wax Paper
2. Colorful crayon shavings
3. A hot iron
4. Scissors
Step 1:
Create crayon shavings:

Step 2:
Draw a fun desgin (ie. heart) and place crayon shavings into the shape:

Step 3:
Add another sheet of wax paper on top, then proceed to iron together.
Step 4:
Once cooled, cut out and hole punch near the top of the heart. Add a piece of ribbon or string, and tie together. The finished product is a one of a kind heart, made with love!
